Doctor - Dalek - Sarah Jane by Marker-Mistress Doctor - Dalek - Sarah Jane by Marker-Mistress
A commissioned piece from a friend at work. Wanted something in black and white so long as it had the Fourth Doctor, Sarah Jane Smith, and a Dalek...

Started using some pen nibs that were in the corner gathering dust for this piece. Loving the Winsor & Newton inks I picked up for this.

If anyone is interested in commissions, don't hesitate to get in touch!

Excellent work. Makes me think of the illustrations in "Terry Nation's Dalek Special" book. The illustrations have a similar fine line work to them.

Ah, it doesn't get much better than Season 12. Tom... Liz... Daleks... do I have the right?... I say old thing... Sorry, I fell back into my childhood there.

Lovely picture - beautiful inkwork there and a really nice composition. I can just imagine it on the front of an old Target novel. :D

The black and white was a good idea, so much lovely contrast. :)

Thanks a bunch! I personally enjoy seeing things in straight up b&w as opposed to color (but perhaps that because I'm too lazy lol)

I struggle a bit with colour (digitally), greyscale works best for me.
(Not to say I don't colour though, I would love to be able to use it effectively, and well.)
