This is an entry I finished for a contest on =Kxhara's journal: [link] A "Fat" Female Superhero

I chose to draw Sersi from Jack Kirby's The Eternals and decided not to something excessive with the weight issue but to do something a bit more realistic with the figure.

Female superheroes can be sexy no matter what their weight, but c'mon give them a little more meat on their bones for chrissake!

I rendered Sersi with a combination of Copic and Prismacolor markers with the b/g and text created in Photoshop and Illustrator CS5

Good choice. I think this look fits her and would not be too far from what she might be. If we look at Greek goddess statues, this is what they looked like then. She could make her body fit any current standards if she wanted, although I think she could also keep with wath she likes and make it work, even if it goes against standards.

Thanks. But there was nothing stopping you from voting on the pic per the rules: "- I will also accept fan-art of existing female superheroines drawn with more realistic proportions."
It was well within the guidelines of the contest

Wow, I love how beautiful and sexy this is. So proves that the super heroine's don't in anyway need to be supermodels to be interesting and desirable. I am in no way familiar with this character other then her looks, and I think she looks better and damn fine this way. Such a fan of all that green too! :heart:
